The Lebanese Rocket Group

Back in January, I posted about the Zambian space programme, one of those byways of history that you’re not entirely convinced that the internet hasn’t made up to get some giggles at your expense. Well, it turns out that Zambia wasn’t the only nation interested in running in the Space Race; however, unlike the heroic lunacy of Zambia’s efforts, Lebanon’s was at least grounded in genuine science and rocketry, before politics got the better of them. New Scientist has a nice article on the story.
