Ten things you need to know about the King James Bible

This year marks the 400th anniversary of the King James Version of the Bible (also known as the Authorised Version) – basically, when someone’s quoting something with lots of thou’s in (normally EastEnders, or bad horror movies broadcast at 2am on the SyFy Channel), chances are the writer has been googling the KJV.

So because this year will see a lot of very clever academics talking about the KJV’s impact on the English language, I thought I’d include a link to writer Nick Page’s blog post ‘Ten things you need to know about the King James Bible’.
