More Strange Data Transfer – Bread!

Following yesterday’s post on stained glass vs floppy discs (and, I guess, this earlier post about pigeons vs broadband), here’s another article about strange ways of communicating data – this time chapati bread in India in the 1850s. The strange thing about this one was that the bread didn’t actually mean anything specific, at least not that anyone can authoritively state – it seems to have been one of those strange movements upon which people overlaid their own meanings…
