Easter Sunday

It’s Easter Sunday, and every Christian with a blog is trying to think what to post – it’s the most important date in the Christian calendar, it’s obligatory. I had something all planned out, but sitting there this morning, the plan changed – why try to reinvent the wheel when someone else has already done it better?

I give you, therefore, Tony Campolo talking about how to throw a birthday party for a a prostitute.

Forget Dawkins vs Creationists, forget Westboro Baptist, at this time of year, when we’re celebrating life after death, let’s not forget that, at the heart of Christianity, is also the idea of life before death, of love and grace and hands held open in hope.
