As we know from Scrubs, janitors and maintenance men doing cool things is always worth watching. So when I heard of the following story, I had to post it.
Florida teenagers Larry Mitchell and Elizabeth Crowe crashed their car into Altamonte Springs. The car starts to sink, the doors won’t open…And then the alligators show up.
Without hesitation, maintainance man Rafael Martinez jumped into the water in an attempt to help. But what about the gators?
Martinez held them off.

So it is with great pleasure that we award the first annual Jack Bauer Award (an attractive statuette of a warrior standing atop the stricken bodies of his enemies) to this story. Because let’s face it, none of us have saved people’s lives while dealing with alligators…
