Down wit’ the nerd ‘hood, yo

It wasn’t inevitable, not by cosmic standards, but strangely I wasn’t shocked at learning that there’s a new subgenre in rap – nerdcore (I guess it’s because I’d already heard of trock). I was going to make a joke about East Coast / West Coast rivalries developing between Marvel and DC fans, or Trekkies vs Whovians, but they already exist (if we could keep the drive-bys to a minimum it would be appreciated)….
